Which GAMES ARE THE MOST AGGRESSIVE, ANGRY AND HOSTILE?
Time Spent Gaming Vs Aggression
ANGRIEST GAMERS IN THE UK
Our analysis found that there was a correlation between time spent gaming and aggression levels.
Up to 11-20 hours per week spent, the more time spent gaming, the higher the levels of physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.
Past 20 hours per week and up to 30 hours per week and more, aggression levels in gamers subsided.
The data found that Battlefield and Call of Duty players were the angriest gamers by some margin, coming first and second for the categories of physical aggression, verbal aggression, and anger.
Battlefield players were top for each category apart from hostility, where they dropped to 6th place. The most hostile gamers were (surprisingly enough) Minecraft players.
Despite its reputation for being relaxing, Animal Crossing players not only made the top 5 for the category of physical aggression but were found to be more physically aggressive than Grand Theft Auto Online players.
Something to remember next time you think about picking fruit from another players island!Video gamers aren’t the only game players that lose their cool. Poker players are renowned for snapping at the poker table after going on tilt or loosing a big hand. Daniel Negreanu might be the most well known for throwing angry fits at the table or Phil Hellmulth for some of his epic meltdowns. With big-time money on the line, it’s not difficult to understand why poker or even online casino players can let the game get the upper hand. At Top 10 Casinos, we always encourage our visitors looking to play casino games at any of the leading online casinos listed on the site to play for the fun and entertainment of the game and, more importantly, play responsibly. You can try playing the games for free with no deposit bonuses and enjoy the experience risk-free.
The difference between the sexes was stark. Male gamers were found to be an average of 13% more aggressive than female gamers, with the biggest difference being in the physical aggression category (19.37% higher levels of aggression).
Its official, Xbox players are the most toxic gamers, having the highest levels of physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.

Our final part of the analysis explored the amount of broken gaming technology caused by gamer rage.
We asked participants how much gaming equipment they’ve broken within the past 12 months, as a result of their gaming habits.
Given physical aggression refers to the act of causing physical harm, we grouped the aggression responses for the category of physical aggression into quartiles.
We found that the most physically aggressive gamers were 25% more likely to damage equipment (such as their controller or physical game disc) than the least aggressive quartile of gamers.
In line with their increased aggression levels, men were 55% more likely to break gaming equipment than women and based on primary game choice, Call of Duty and FIFA players were the most likely to break gaming equipment – smashing their way through 438 Xbox and PS4 controllers in the past 12 months. Expensive.

The Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire consists of 29 questions on a five-point Likert scale.
Respondents select the statement for each question that ranges from Extremely Uncharacteristic to Extremely Characteristic.
Depending on the user response to each question, for example, Q.17: “I Sometimes feel like a powder keg ready to explode”, the more or less aggressive they are deemed to be by the scoring system.
The closer to 1 your overall score is, the more aggressive you are found to be.
The questionnaire is split into four aggression sub sections, these being: Physical Aggression, Verbal Aggression, Anger and Hostility.
For the analysis, respondents were asked to select the 3 games they enjoy playing the most in order of preference and the device they primarily play their games on.
